American Sign Language (ASL) is the language of Deaf Canadians. It is a beautiful and

rich visual language and we want to share it with you.

Albera Cultural Society of the Deaf (ACSD) offers ASL classes with qualified instructors that provides an introduction to ASL and Deaf culture.  We use the Signing Naturally curriculum 

which is recognized across Canada as one of the best programs for learning the language. Signing Naturally follows the American Council on Teaching of Foreign Languages (ACTFL) standards which incorporates in 5 C's 1) Communication 2) Cultures 3) Connections

4) Comparisons 5) Communities.

ACSD is a non-profit organization run by the Deaf for the Deaf and promotes ASL and

Deaf Culture in the community.
